Three Camarillo City Council incumbents have announced their intention to run for reelection, with two filing formal papers, officials said Tuesday.
Charlotte Craven and Stan Daily have filed papers, becoming the only candidates to formally file for seats in the November election, when three seats will be on the ballot, City Clerk Marilyn Thiel said.
The third open seat is held by Mayor Ken Gose, who issued a written statement earlier indicating that he would seek reelection. Gose said he would file his election papers soon.
Thiel said that as of Tuesday, no outside challengers to the incumbents had taken out papers.
The deadline to file is Aug. 12. For information, call the city clerk’s office at 388-5314 or go to City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive, during normal business hours.
