State Improves Service for Firms Seeking Hires

The state Employment Development Department says it has established an improved, single-call service for employers wishing to hire new workers.
In western Ventura County, call (805) 654-6907. In the eastern county, call (805) 582-8714. The department says thousands of entry-level, technical and professional job applicants are available.
