If you’re an opera buff or want to become acquainted with the art form, check out Opera Pacific’s 1994-95 Youth Night series at the Orange County Performing Arts Center.
For just $20, students can attend all four Opera Pacific productions. An added bonus: youth nights are on Friday this season, so no more late nights at the opera followed by school the next morning.
If an adult accompanies at least three students, the adult can buy a series ticket for $48.
The operas scheduled are “Aida” (Verdi), Sept. 30; “La Traviata” (Verdi), Jan. 20; “Madama Butterfly” (Puccini), March 3, and “The Magic Flute” (Mozart), March 10.
For the best seats, order soon. Call (714) 474-4488, Ext. 318, or write to Youth Night Tickets, Opera Pacific, 9 Executive Circle, Irvine, CA 92714.
