Interactive: Columbia Pictures plans to intensify its efforts to promote its films on-line. Working with Los Angeles-based Hollywood Online Inc., the studio will create video clips, photo and text materials based on its movies, which subscribers to on-line services can look at and download to their personal computers. The studio also plans to launch a “Talk to Columbia” mailbox on America Online in conjunction with the movie “Blankman,” opening Aug. 19.
