Henry L. Nordhoff has joined Gen-Probe Inc. as president and chief executive. San Diego-based Gen-Probe develops and manufactures diagnostic products based on its patented genetic probe technology. Previously, Nordhoff, 52, was president and chief executive of TargeTech Inc., a Connecticut subsidiary of San Diego-based Immune Response Corp.
