Claudia Puig’s piece on the success of KLAX-FM (“Buenos Diiiiiias, Los Annnnngeles!” June 12) missed one important point: the radio station’s crossover appeal to non-Latinos. True, we listen to the station to practice our Spanish and learn more about the Latino culture, but it’s the banda beat that really makes us tune in. What a great way to wake up for the morning commute!
