MISSION VIEJO — A 63-year-old woman died Tuesday afternoon, 24 hours after she was involved in a single-car crash on Marguerite Parkway.
Sherri Harmon, a resident of Lake Forest, was southbound on Marguerite Parkway south of Estanciero Drive at 3:48 p.m. Monday when her car jumped the center divider and struck a tree, said Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Jay Mendez.
“Apparently a witness talked to (Harmon) shortly after the collision,” Mendez said. “Shortly afterward, she went into full cardiac arrest. We’re not sure if she had a heart attack before or after the accident.”
