VENTURA : Local Man Dies in Accident in Canada

A Ventura man touring Canada with a friend was killed on a scenic highway Monday night when he lost control of his motorcycle, officials said.
David Brian Burke, 27, was driving southbound on a two-lane road in southeastern British Columbia when his motorcycle left the road and struck a rock wall, a police official in Canada said.
He died soon after the 7:30 p.m. accident at nearby Creston Valley Hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
