A company that has specialized in travel to France since 1987 is selling tickets for some of the major summer festivals and charging only a $20 reservation fee, regardless of the number of tickets purchased. Major ticket agencies charge 15% to 20% per-ticket handling fees.
Henri Schaff, president of H.S.A. Voyages, says he has been building a network of sources at various festivals and has access to tickets for Choregies d’Orange, which runs from July 9-Aug. 2 (tickets range from $35 to $160), and Aix-en-Provence, July 15-30 (tickets $40-$170), among others.
