BRIEFLY : Art: Sculptures Along Santa Monica Boulevard
West Hollywood is putting sculpture on display in an unlikely location: the Santa Monica Boulevard median strip.
Through Sept. 30, the median will be the site of “Mutable Existence,†an exhibit of works by Pascal Giacomini, a French-born artist living in Los Angeles.
The 12 sculptures, made with steel, wood, copper and acrylics, were unveiled Monday by Giacomini and the West Hollywood City Council.
They occupy the median from La Cienega Boulevard to Doheny Drive.
