Police Seek Man for Questioning in Death
SANTA ANA — Police are looking for a man who reportedly was seen in the apartment of a 71-year-old woman found bludgeoned to death Thursday.
Michael Dean Owens, a transient in his 30s, is being sought for questioning, according to Lt. Robert Chavez.
The body of Patricia Hamilton Powell was found at Wycliffe Plaza, a high-security, 12-story housing complex for senior citizens on North Flower Street.
Anyone with information on Owens’ whereabouts is asked to call Santa Ana police at (714) 834-4801.
