BRIEFLY : Charity: New Chief for Big Brothers
Brentwood resident Bob Waldorf has been named president of Jewish Big Brothers of Los Angeles.
Waldorf had a Big Brother when he was a child and went on to be a mentor in the program when he was older. He has served on the board of directors for Jewish Big Brothers for more than two decades. He is owner and president of Idea Man Inc., a promotional products business in Los Angeles.
Jewish Big Brothers of Los Angeles is a nonprofit agency providing a range of programs for children ages 7 to 12, most of whom are from single-parent homes.
