Drop-Off Sites Will Accept Bulky Trash
LA HABRA — Residents who want to throw away large objects and other junk that cannot be picked up on regular trash days will be able to drop it off on Saturday in large bins at City Hall or five city parks.
No hazardous materials will be accepted at the sites, which are: the back parking lot at City Hall at Euclid Street and La Habra Boulevard, Descanso Park at Fonda Street and Stearns Avenue, Las Lomas Park on Las Lomas Drive, Montwood Park on Montwood Avenue, Oeste Park on Lambert Road and La Bonita Park on Whittier Boulevard. They are open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Senior citizens or people with disabilities who need help hauling their garbage should call the Public Services Department at (310) 905-9789.
