Misleading Photo
Your coverage of “Owner of Dog Killed by Police Files Claim†(March 31) is an example of sensationalism that I am disappointed to see in your paper.
When I first saw the picture on B1 of a helpless puppy, I was led to believe that was the dog shot by police. Further reading of the story revealed that the owners had lost their pit bull, not a puppy. While all pit bulls may not fit the vicious stereotype, the picture was very misleading.
