Wildlife Priority

The article on March 16, “The Fur Flies,” illustrated beautifully the difference between a mountain and a molehill. Surely, the people who are complaining about the squirrels must have realized that living in Wildwood would place them smack in the middle of what makes Thousand Oaks such a grand place: wildlife right outside one’s door.
When those folks get tired of the molehill (a.k.a. squirrels), show ‘em to the mountain so they can tackle some real problems like gangs, drive-by shootings and drunk driving.
As for me, I’ll take the squirrels and coyotes and hawks and possums and all that crawls and slithers any day over those other problems.
