Dangerous Chase
Regarding the freeway police chase of March 29, I find it incredible that three police agencies were involved in apprehending a suspect with three warrants for drug possession and a no-show in court.
They created an extreme danger to the public during heavy morning traffic hours, just to have some fun. Knowing that the suspect was not an armed ax murderer, they should not have pursued. They could have arrested him later in a more safe manner.
Also, why cannot the police take the car keys from stopped drivers, until they finish running the records check?
