Boeing Expects Drop in ’94 Plane Deliveries: Boeing Co. said it delivered 82 commercial jetliners in the first quarter and estimated that total 1994 deliveries will amount to 260 commercial planes. The deliveries, which vary from quarter to quarter, depending on airline orders, compare with 330 in all of 1993 and 441 in 1992. Boeing got orders for just nine new jetliners during the quarter. First-quarter deliveries included 39 737s, 15 747s, 16 757s and 12 767s, Boeing said. The company plans to unveil its latest jetliner, the 777, this weekend.
