FULLERTON : Assistant Principal Wins State Honor
Sharon B. Wronka, assistant principal of Sunny Hills High School, has been named California’s Assistant Principal of the Year by the Assn. of California School Administrators.
Wronka received the award based on her willingness to take risks to help students, ability to anticipate problems and success in improving the school’s learning environment, according to a statement by ACSA.
“Wronka is a tireless worker both in the schools and in the community,†said ACSA Executive Director Allan Petersdorf, praising the award winner as an example-setter for her peers.
As Assistant Principal of the Year, Wronka will attend a leadership forum later this month in Illinois along with the award winners from the 49 other states, New York City and Washington.
