To Go or Not to Go : OC HIGH: STUDENT NEWS & VIEWS
What’s the big deal about Shakespeare? Figuring that a lot of teens are interested in the answer to that question, a special one-hour production of excerpts of his works is being presented at Golden West Community College. . The show features 30 actors, including high school and college theater students. “All the World’s a Stage: Shakespeare’s Monologues,†will feature scenes or soliloquies from five of Shakespeare’s best-known works--â€Hamlet, Prince of Denmark,†“Macbeth,†“As You Like It,†“The Merchant of Venice†and “Romeo and Juliet.â€
Performances will be at 8 p.m. March 8 and 9. at Golden West College Community Theater, 15744 Golden West St., Huntington Beach. Admission is free. (714) 895-8772.
