In other women’s basketball playoff games:

Orange Coast 66, Chaffey 65--Petra Murdoch’s basket with 18 seconds left gave host Orange Coast a 66-65 lead. She then got a rebound with eight seconds left to clinch the victory. America Robledo scored 20 points and Murdoch added 16 for the Pirates (20-12), who play at Riverside Saturday.

Golden West 84, Oxnard 69--Julie Murdent led host Golden West (30-4) with 22 points and 15 rebounds. The Rustlers play host to San Diego Mesa Saturday in the second round.

San Diego Mesa 62, Fullerton 45--The road loss was the final game for Fullerton Coach Colleen Riley, who ended her 25-year coaching career at Fullerton with a 559-147 record.

In nonconference baseball:

Saddleback 8, San Diego Mesa 7--Sam Voita and Tim Wolter hit back-to-back doubles to drive in three runs to highlight a five-run sixth for Saddleback (5-3-1), which trailed 6-0 after five innings.

In Orange Empire Conference men’s golf:

Saddleback 365, Orange Coast 393, Rancho Santiago 397, Fullerton 408--Jason Grandy shot a one-under 71 to help lead Saddleback at Western Hills Country Club.

In nonconference softball:

Orange Coast 1, El Camino 0--Kelsi Armbruster pitched a one-hitter, struck out eight and drove in the only run with a fourth-inning double for host Orange Coast (6-3).

Golden West 2, Pasadena 1--Christina Velasquez drove in both runs with a double in the fourth inning and pitched four innings to earn her first victory for Golden West (3-3).

Saddleback 8, Southwestern 0--Cheri Davis had three hits and three RBIs for Saddleback (9-2).
