LOS ALAMITOS : Janitorial Services Contract Awarded
The City Council last week picked Commercial Building Co. over seven other contractors to provide janitorial services to City Hall and other city buildings.
The Santa Ana-based company’s winning bid of $15,000 a year was $8,000 lower than the city’s previous contract with another janitorial company, officials said.
In addition to City Hall, the janitorial firm will clean the council chambers, finance and engineering offices, the youth and community centers and restrooms at Laurel Park.
Six other companies submitted bids for the contract in November, according to Public Services Director M. Victor Rollinger.
