An abducted newborn boy was found safe early Monday at the home of a nurse who police say wanted a replacement for the baby she miscarried just weeks ago.

Carol Einhart Jordan, 45, of south Dade County was charged with false imprisonment, and other charges are pending, police said.

Jordan, who is on leave from her job at Cedars Medical Center, was turned in to police by an adult daughter, who thought her mother had psychiatric problems, an officer said.
