Newport Coast Drive Construction Work to Cause Delays Next Week for Commuters
IRVINE — Construction on Newport Coast Drive next week will cause some delays for commuters.
Beginning Saturday, Irvine Ranch Water District workers will begin repairs on a 12-inch reclaimed-water main.
As a result, two of three northbound lanes on Newport Coast Drive between Coast Highway and Pelican Hill Road South will be closed until construction is completed on Feb. 17.
Southbound lanes will not be affected.
