WESTMINSTER : Tet Festival Expected to Attract 100,000
As many as 100,000 people are expected to attend the three-day celebration of this year’s Tet Festival in Little Saigon that begins Friday.
Activities include cultural exhibits, martial arts demonstrations, firecracker displays, lion dances, karaoke contests and cultural presentations. The event is being sponsored by the Asian American Merchants Assn., a nonprofit group.
Gates are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Organizers said part of the proceeds will be donated to local nonprofit groups.
