Feed a Cold <i> and</i> Post-Quake Cravings
Robin Abcarian really hit the nail on the head with her article on post-quake eating habits (“Quake Leaves Shaken Survivors With a Quirk to Chew On,” Jan. 30).
I was housesitting in Reseda, and after two days of aftershocks, cold cereal and total darkness after 5 p.m., I left the house in search of food and pain medication for my headache. When I finally found a store that was open, guess what I bought? A 10-pack of Kit Kat bars and a large bag of Cheetos. Oh, yes, and Excedrin.
