Auto Mall Would Drive Out Nature
* I am writing in regard to the article “36-Acre Auto Mall Planned For Rancho Santa Margarita,” Jan. 29. All this within a 450-acre business park-- all under either cement or macadam! And a projection of 611,400 residents. Who needs this?!
There is now a constant drone of traffic--anytime, day or night! Where are the beautiful hills, areas to meander along, original grasses, brush? They have either been lobotomized or paved under--topsoil gone forever! How much money does the O’Neill family need? Wasn’t Mission Viejo enough to fill their coffers?
