David Scharp has been appointed chief scientific officer of Neocrin Co., a development-stage biomedical company in Irvine. Scharp, an academic surgeon and researcher, has taken a leave of absence from Washington University in St. Louis to take the position. He will also be a member of Neocrin’s scientific advisory board.
