To better inform the public about what’s happening in the city, the Cypress Recreation and Park District this week opened a telephone line on which recordings about upcoming events, meetings and programs can be heard.

The number is (714) 229-6734.

Callers can hear about the district’s events for the month, registration dates for programs, schedule for adult and youth sports programs and the condition of fields, rental information on the community and senior centers, park buildings and sports facilities, services for senior citizens and activities for youngsters.
