Monika Bickert of El Toro, a 5-foot-11 outside hitter, made an oral commitment to play volleyball at Rice, El Toro girls’ Athletic Director Sheri Ross said.
Ursula Luna, a 5-6 setter from Dana Hills, orally committed to UC Santa Barbara, Dana Hills Coach Mike Hurlbut said. Luna helped the Dolphins reach the Southern Section Division I semifinals.

Former Tustin High standout Jason Reynolds has orally committed to play football at Arizona State, his father Art said.
Reynolds, who transferred from Tustin to St. Paul High in Santa Fe Springs midway through last season, made his decision during a recent trip to the Tempe campus. He is expected to play linebacker Arizona State.
Reynolds played linebacker and fullback at Tustin for three seasons and was a forward on the school’s basketball team.
