Director Arthur Hiller to Speak at Benefit for Women’s Group
Film director Arthur Hiller will speak at the Pacific Design Center’s Green Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2. The event will benefit the Women’s Image Network, a nonprofit group that aims to improve the images of women in film and television.
Hiller is the former president of the Directors Guild of America and the current president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. His films include “The Americanization of Emily,†“Love Story,†“Man of La Mancha,†“The Babe†and “Outrageous Fortune.â€
Tickets are $20 in advance; $25 at the door.
