COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Late Victories Lift Fullerton in Wrestling

Brian Tomazic and Dwayne Buth won at 177 and 190 pounds, and Cal State Fullerton hung on for an 18-17 victory over Boise State in a Pac-10 wrestling meet Friday night at Cal State Fullerton.
Tomazic pinned Sean Burns 3 minutes 58 seconds into their match at 177, and Buth defeated Richard Conti, 8-2, for Fullerton (2-3, 1-0).
Jeff Maes (126 pounds), Farzin Daneshnia (134) and Kenny Workman (142) also won for Fullerton.
In nonconference women’s basketball:
Cal Lutheran 76, Chapman 66--Kelli McCaskill scored 23 points to lead Cal Lutheran (3-5). Melissa Starr had 22 points and eight rebounds for Chapman (3-10).
Southern California College 79, Biola 67--Jamie Zitterkopf scored 27 points and Tina Demarsh and Heather Brannan added 14 each for visiting SCC (12-3).
SCC made six of 11 three-point shots to take a 42-31 halftime lead.
Courtney Dunham scored 17 points for Biola (5-11).
