Cesar Romero

All I heard was “Romero” as I turned on the radio. “No, it can’t be,” I thought. “Romero, dead at 86,” the announcer continued. Why couldn’t I believe that Cesar Romero was dead? Because every time I saw him I saw a very youthful, handsome man who got better as he aged!
As an entertainer, I had the pleasure of seeing him at functions at which I was engaged to sing. He was so popular with everyone connected with show business that a party without him was not a party.
Although he was a star, he was simply a down-to-earth human being. To me, Cesar Romero was a very special person who will be greatly missed.
