Van Nuys Man Dies After Being Stabbed

A 28-year-old Van Nuys man has died after being stabbed, police said Sunday.
Vladimer Metelev was stabbed once in the upper body Saturday morning in an apartment on Willowcrest Avenue in North Hollywood, according to Sgt. Christopher Vasquez of the Los Angeles Police Department. He was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center, where he died, police said.
Vasquez said police were still investigating the events that led to the stabbing.
