Master’s Splits Basketball Games

James Mosley scored 20 points and Emeka Okenwa added 19 to lead The Master’s College to a 103-55 victory over Patten in a nonconference men’s basketball game Thursday night at Newhall.
Mosley (nine of 13) and Okenwa (eight of 10) helped the Mustangs (6-2) make 65.6% (40 of 61) of their shots.
Doug Leaman added 18 points for The Master’s, hitting six of seven shots, including three of four from three-point range.
In a women’s basketball game:
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 51, The Master’s 40--Kim DeVries scored 13 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, but the Mustangs (1-4, 0-3) made only 14 of 64 shots in an NAIA District 3 game at Claremont.
Deborah Prociw had nine points and five rebounds for The Master’s.
