ORANGE : Hospital Holds 11th Triplet Reunion
- Share via
It was a case of double vision--and then some--Thursday afternoon at St. Joseph Hospital.
The hospital held its 11th annual Triplet Reunion, bringing together 16 of the 30 sets of triplets born there.
The triplets ranged in age from infancy to young teens.
Among those attending the get-together were identical triplets--the 13-year-old Waggener boys--Jacob, Jerad and Seth.
The chances of triplets being identical are one in 600,000, according to the hospital.
Also present were the Morris family, who had quadruplets in September, and the Frustaci family, who had septuplets in May, 1985.
The hospital averages 500 births a month, the highest in Orange County.
