Ex-Clinton Aide to Run PR Firm: Hill & Knowlton Inc. appointed Howard Paster, a former assistant to President Clinton for legislative affairs, as chairman and chief executive. Paster, 48, will also serve as chairman of the executive committee of the international public relations and public affairs counseling firm. Paster joined Clinton’s transition team last December and became Clinton’s chief congressional lobbyist in January. He resigned from that post last month, citing personal reasons.
