* Note that Puerto Ricans are allowed to vote on a Sunday. Their turnout rate on Nov. 14 was 73.6 % of all registered voters, a stark contrast to the appallingly low voter turnout ratio in our 50 states.
Moving our Election Day from Tuesday to Sunday would give many more people an opportunity to participate in the democratic process and perhaps eliminate the kind of problems that occurred in the recent New Jersey gubernatorial race.
