OUTLOOK

Shelton is happy with what he has. His Eagles team has experience and some new players who will bring added talent to the court. Leading the team is senior Etheridge, who was an all-league player last season. Others expected by Shelton to contribute are Shaffner and Ghosheh, who are seniors. “We have a lot of speed and I’m very confident that we can at least repeat a second-place finish,� Shelton said. And although there are no stellar performers on the team, Shelton believes experience will be a big factor this season. A side note, Shelton needs one more victory to give him 100 for his coaching career.
