Body of Stabbing Victim Found in Park
FULLERTON — The body of a man stabbed numerous times was found underneath some brush at Craig Regional Park, police said Monday.
A jogger spotted blood at the entrance to the park’s dam near Associated Road at about 1 p.m. Sunday, Police Sgt. Danny Becerra said.
Police searched the area and found the body in a shallow gully about 4:30 p.m., Becerra said.
The victim apparently had died about 24 hours before from wounds to the head and neck, police said. Police found no identification. Police identified the man through fingerprints as Antonio Marino Hernandez, 33, with a last known address of Norwalk.
“We don’t know if he has family members or not,†Becerra said. We don’t know anything about him.â€
