Works, Hearvey Help Cypress Win
Sara Works scored 19 points and Yolanda Hearvey added 11 to lead Cypress College to a 59-42 victory over Glendale in the first round of the Yavapai basketball tournament Thursday in Yavapai, Ariz.
Cypress (5-0) jumped to a 31-20 halftime lead and never trailed in the second half.
