‘Plot to Overthrow Christmas’ to Air
KPCC-FM (89.3) will air a new version of Norman Corwin’s “The Plot to Overthrow Christmas,” directed by Corwin, on Dec. 19 at 5 p.m. The broadcast celebrates the 55th anniversary of the script, and is produced by Peggy Webber, artistic director of the California Artists Radio Theater.
The classic Corwin comedy follows historic villains who meet in Hades to overthrow Christmas. Stars include Roddy McDowall, Richard Crenna, David Warner, Samantha Eggar, William Windon, Norman Lloyd, Kathleen Freeman, Marvin Kaplan and Joseph Marcell.
