NBA ROUNDUP : Porter Leads Trail Blazers
Terry Porter broke a shooting slump with three three-point baskets in the fourth quarter as the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Detroit Pistons, 114-111, Sunday night at Portland, Ore.
The Blazers led by 16 points with 6:49 left, but Isiah Thomas scored 11 of 23 points in the fourth quarter to pull the Pistons to within 112-109.
New Jersey 132, Sacramento 102--Kenny Anderson scored 26 points and had 16 assists to lead the Nets at East Rutherford, N.J.
The Nets, who blew big fourth-quarter leads in losing their first two home games, led 98-79 at the end of the three quarters, then outscored the Kings, 14-3, to start the fourth.
