Planning Commissioner William E. Reeves has resigned and the city is seeking a replacement to finish out his four-year term.
Reeves, who was appointed to the Planning Commission in April, resigned two weeks ago. He is moving to San Luis Obispo, where he has been offered a job as a salesman. Reeves is leaving a job as manager of the Sizzler Restaurant in La Habra and will move his family to the new town. He said he regrets leaving the commission. His term would have expired in March, 1997.
Applicants must apply at City Hall by Dec. 15. They will be interviewed during a public meeting Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
The new commissioner will probably be sworn in sometime in January, city officials said.
