Fullback David Lang, back after knee surgery during training camp, practiced without problems and pronounced himself fit for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons at Anaheim Stadium.

Lang is listed as questionable and said he will notify Ram coaches after today’s practice if he is ready. “I can play,” he said. “Definitely.”

Atlanta has lost seven of its last eight games at Anaheim, and Coach Jerry Glanville remembered one of the worst was a 44-24 decision in 1990. After the game, Falcon coaches and players returned to their locker room to find sewer pipes had leaked nearly two inches of water.

“That was about as bad as it gets,” Glanville said. “I held my press conference standing there in human waste. I remember Kris Kristofferson came to the game, but he sure didn’t hang around the locker room long afterward.”

Knox said the Rams did not inquire about Bernie Kosar. . . . Offensive tackles Jackie Slater (torn pectoral muscle) and Robert Jenkins (toe) will not play Sunday. . . . .For the Falcons, cornerback Brian Mitchell (knee) will not play, quarterback Billy Joe Tolliver (shoulder) is questionable and quarterback Bobby Hebert (elbow) is probable. . . . The Falcons’ starting defensive ends, Rick Bryan and Mike Gann, are sidelined for the season because of injuries. . . . Knox gave 3,000 tickets to Sunday’s game, donated by Ram owner Georgia Frontiere, to Orange County firefighters.
