SANTA ANA : Chamber Awards $250 Scholarships

The Chamber of Commerce has awarded $250 scholarships to high school seniors who have excelled academically, demonstrated good citizenship and plan to attend a vocational school or two- or four-year college or university.
Winners and their parents were honored recently during the chamber’s Chairman’s Circle Ball at the Westin South Coast Plaza hotel.
Scholarship recipients are Maria Casteneda, Randall Coleman, Veronica Fernandez, Jennel Francis, Laura Garcia and Dan Hoang of Century High School; Eliseo Amezcua, Melani Clarke, Laura Cresswell, Heriberto Hernandez, Sonny Kelly, Lam Nguyen, Suzanne Tran and David Young of Saddleback High School; Alma Alvarez, Miguel Gomez, Anh Kim Hinh and Le Hien of Santa Ana High School; and Theresa Change, Elizabeth Gomez, Chau Luong, Isis Orejel, Tam Tran and Tracy Tran of Valley High School.
