Murray Doesn’t Need to Get With the Program
As usual, Jim Murray’s article on the importance of media and the visual image (Oct. 28) tells it like it is.
Too bad it doesn’t appear in the Calendar or Metro sections.

What’s up, Jim Murray? You’re jumping on the “Blame Someone Else, Don’t Take Responsibility” bandwagon. The problems of society are not caused by movies like “The Program” or TV shows like “Beavis and Butt-head.” The problem is that parents don’t want to be responsible for raising their children and don’t want to be accountable for their actions.
So they removed “The Scene” from the movie. This is censorship, one of the very things we the people of the United States are supposed to hate. What needs to be known is, 1) Who brought this kid up? and 2) Why at 18 years old doesn’t he have the common sense to know the consequences of lying down in the middle of the highway?
