UCLA, USC Meet in Women’s Volleyball

In a women’s volleyball match between the top two teams in the Pacific 10 Conference, UCLA will play USC tonight at 7 in Pauley Pavilion.

The top-ranked Bruins, who are 19-0 overall and 11-0 in the Pac-10, are led by Julie Bremner, a senior setter who is the only returning starter from last season’s NCAA finalist team. Bremner’s 13.5 assists per game ranked fourth in the nation last week.

The eighth-ranked Trojans (16-4, 8-3) are led by senior outside hitter Katie Haller, who averages four kills per game and has a .289 hitting percentage.

UCLA leads the series, 41-28. The Bruins defeated the Trojans in three games on Oct. 2.
