Drug Warning for Bermuda
U.S. citizens who travel to Bermuda must inform Bermuda customs officials if they are taking medication for a particular illness, according to the State Department.
The new regulations are part of Bermuda’s efforts to stop the flow of illicit drugs.
In an updated consular information report, the Bureau of Consular Affairs says medications must be in labeled containers and available for inspection upon arrival. It also says that travelers may wish to carry a copy of the written prescription and a letter from the physician or pharmacist confirming the reason the medicine has been prescribed.
