Behind The Scenes : Faces Stand Out in the Crowd at Masquerade Gala Benefit
- Share via
More than paper faces were on parade at a masquerade gala Wednesday to benefit Young Professionals Against Cancer and Share Our Selves Medical and Dental Clinic.
The event, held at Shane at Newport Beach, induced most of the 400 guests to don masks decorated with feathers, sequins and boldly colored fabric.
Women wore masks of various styles, from those securely strapped around their heads to romantic hand-held ones and elaborate headpieces.
Men came disguised simply, mostly as the Phantom of the Opera or the Lone Ranger, except for one man who wore a purple satin toga . . . and no face covering.
Perhaps he was at the wrong pre-Halloween party.
