1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Gunfire After Party
PACOIMA — Gunfire broke out as a party ended early Saturday, leaving one man dead and another wounded, police said.
Detective Marshall White of the Police Department’s Foothill Division said several fistfights started shortly after 2 a.m. as about 200 people began leaving the party in the 12000 block of Kamloops Street. A gunman, who has not been identified, then fired several shots, White said.
Reymundo Villalobos, 27, of Pacoima was shot in the upper torso. He was transported to Pacifica Hospital, where he died.
The other victim, identified only as a 28-year-old man, was treated and released from a local hospital, White said.
